autonomous design studio emerged in 2007 straight from the heart and mind of Michael Faber.

My story

After completing a bachelor's degree with honors from the Department of Visual Communication Design at HIT (Holon Institute of Technology), I have gained extensive experience as a designer in various places, among them "Castro" - a leading Israeli fashion company, and the start-up "Knock-TV", which created a new concept in online content consumption.

In 2007, I set out to pursue my dream and established autonomous independent design studio. During the early years when I was establishing the studio, I recognised the importance of business strategic tools and their integration along with the design process. I therefore decided to acquire my master's degree in Design Management at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, where I graduated with honors.

Credo

The credo which guides me in my creations is based on a total and uncompromising approach to design. I believe in vision and objectives not "solutions", in true values not empty statements, and -god forbid- even in a pinch of modesty.

Methodology

Integration of creative capabilities and business strategists along with a multidisciplinary approach, are the methodological pillars in my work.
1. Starting by getting to know you: what beliefs and values motivate you, what are your obvious and hidden needs, what you do or are intending to do
2. Research and strategy: learning and comprehending all the critical elements of your business, and eventually setting guidelines for action that will make you stand out of the crowd
3. It's alive!: taking the concept to the next stage - Design
4.Making it work: implementation of the design at all of the touchpoints of the brand
